Match job requirements to my experience. Indicated my excitement on an opportunity and how the position would be a good match. Phone interview with HR. One day face to face with hiring manager, human resources and several sales leaders who I would be supporting. Offer made a few days later, started two weeks after acceptance. My ability to convey my knowledge of the industry and experience in like positions was the key to my hiring. Apparently a current employee was the leading applicant until I applied and demonstrated more experience.
