      Roadway Lighting Engineer Interview

      13 Oct 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GFT in Sept 2023

      Interview

It was a standard interview process. There was a first step interview with the HR person, and then a Teams interview with the Department Head and Manger. I described my background clearly, and it is clearly spelled out in bullet points on my resume. I clearly list what my skill sets are, and not what are on there. The HR rep mentioned this, and set me up for a interview. The whole interview was awkward. The two looked at the screen sometimes, but a lot of it was looking at their side faces as they spent it working on another screen. The brushed me off in my past experience, and dismissed me and considered me worthless on the experience I didn't have. It was almost like an interview to just discuss how inexperienced I was when it was clear on my resume in the first place.
