I had a very disappointing experience interviewing with GMP in Gaithersburg, Maryland, for the clean room technician position. My interview was scheduled for 12:30 PM, but I received a call at 12:10 PM—just 15 minutes before—asking to reschedule, despite the fact I was already an hour into my drive. When I arrived, no one greeted me, asked how I was, or even shook my hand. The attitude I encountered during the interview process was unprofessional and dismissive.
The interview itself lasted barely 10 minutes, and when I expressed hesitation about a second interview, I was met with more attitude. This experience raised numerous red flags about the company’s work environment, and I chose not to move forward. Professionalism and respect should start during the interview process, and sadly, this fell far short.
