Interview
At first there was a phone interview going over some aspects of the job and having a brief mock lesson. Then, a group session where the job was described and we were invited to participate in discussion. Then there were individual interviews one by one in a private area.

They simulated a lesson for a few minutes to gauge suitability for one on one lessons.
Contact was done on time and sufficient information was given,I had to dedicate 1 hour to the interview.Was explained the contract work concept well and was advised work locations. I had to fill up a pre interview task with a few basic questions on how I was to move and a creative writing section

I was asked a demo lesson to teach to Person with limited English Understanding
Standard 2 part interview including giving a demo class and showing I am able to listen to feedback. Due to corona's impact, they informed me after interview they are no longer hiring and to re-apply in the future.

Interview
The interview was arranged and took place over Skype. The interviewer was quite formal. I'd suggest wearing a suit or at least a shirt and tie (if male). We spoke about my work and education history, my motivation for wanting to go to Japan and my understanding of the requirements of the role at Gaba. We then did a short lesson simulation. I had to describe the difference between 'popular' and 'famous'. Then we repeated the simulation but apart from describing the difference verbally, I was asked to use the Skype chat function to write notes at the same time.
