Usually 3 rounds. It depends on the teams and requirement. Mostly simple or basic questions on Java or with debugging stuff. . The managerial round would discuss about the salaries. Its important that you discuss it first and if they feel that what you get is good with the market, you may be hired but may remain with the same salary for a year.

The Interview process was 3 step. The first step was a telephonic round. There was a group of 3-4 people. The round started with basic questions and as i was answering those correctly the level was increasing. It went around 50 minutes and we discussed about 15-20 odd questions. Second round was 1 to 1 and was taken by Senior Architect. Third round was HR round.
