Interview
I went through three rounds of interviews plus a project as part of the process. Communication was very prompt and consistent while I was advancing through each stage. However, once the process concluded, I did not receive any follow-up or formal rejection, despite multiple attempts to check in.
It was disappointing, especially given the level of time and effort required for the project. A simple update or closure would have gone a long way in maintaining a positive candidate experience. The way I found out someone else got the role was through an announcement on LinkedIn...
For a company with an established reputation, I expected a higher level of professionalism and communication throughout the entire process, not just during active interview stages.

Interview
I believe I may have been used as a decoy candidate during the hiring process. The Head of HR encouraged me to request a higher salary, which could have made me less competitive compared to other candidates.
Additionally, one of the managers asked an inappropriate question whether I had ever worked with a British person before. As someone from an international background, I found this assumption both irrelevant and unprofessional.
Overall, the experience raised concerns about the fairness and professionalism of the recruitment process.
