I applied online. I interviewed at Gen Korean BBQ (Milpitas, CA)
Interview
I was asked a bunch of formula questions about my "personality", which for one thing, doesn't tell you if a candidate can do the job, especially in food service, where let's face it, people will give a job to a relative with no job experience and it's often people's first job. He did asking me a lot of bartender or job troubleshooting questions which I think are generally relevant and useful.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Gen Korean BBQ (Tustin, CA) in Jun 2018
Interview
The interview is fairly relaxed. They seem to care more about availability more than anything. Make sure to dress business casual at least to show some respect and make a good impression. Stress your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adherence to "the customer is always right".
