I applied online. I interviewed at General Mills (Golden Valley, MN) in Jun 2017
Interview
I had a phone interview that lasted about 30minutes. I was told I would be contacted if the company wanted to do an in-person interview. I was contacted a couple of days after my phone interview. My in-person interview was 3 hours long. It was broken up into 3 parts.

Question 1
A question that was new to me for my phone interview was, "walk me through your resume". Why do you want to work for General Mills? How do you manage working with different personalities?
The interview was friendly and well organised. The interviewer explained the role clearly and gave me the opportunity to discuss my experience. Overall, it was a positive and professional experience throughout.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills in Jan 2024
Interview
1. Intro Call
2. zoom call with Administrative Lead and HR
From my session the right off the bat Administrative Lead seemed like she didn't want to be here. She stated the first 20 minutes she will be asking questions and the last 10 minutes will be my turn to ask questions. She asked about 10 behavior questions. During the interview she kept sighing. I tried to make small talks but that did not go anywhere. It was literally dead silence after each questions. This was such as awkward interview that I knew I wasn't going to get the job. I did end up accepting an offer from their competitors.
The mediocre interview lacked enthusiasm and depth. The questions were adequate but not engaging. The connection with the interviewer felt weak, leaving room for improvement. Overall it was short and sweet.
