I applied through university. I interviewed at General Mills
Interview
They went to my school's career fair and also accepted resumes through our career website. Overall, an okay experience with standard behavioral questions. Use the SAR model. They also had a preliminary seminar on campus. Great benefits + salary and it seemed like a decent career path. You need some quantitative knowledge though so if math isn't your thing, you should stay away. Also, it's super competitive. There were over 20 people just at the seminar from my school alone.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you had to accomodate a difficult co-worker
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2025
Interview
- 2 on 1 for the first interview
1 of them was asking questions and 1 of them was taking notes. Felt pretty intense, they never got back to me and said I would hear back after a week. I then reached out and they responded immediately saying I did not get the job.
Applied online and then interviewed over a zoom call. Straightforward and easy. Two rounds. Some online personality questions as well. Overall a good experience. Different interview lets each round both current employees.
