I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Aug 2018
Interview
I applied on LinkedIn for a position and within a three week window I had my initial phone interview and was flown to the corporate office for two formal interviews with the Marketing team. The two managers I interviewed with do currently manage or have managed the position I was applying for, which was very helpful when getting more detail on the role. The interviews are very fast paced with mostly situational/behavioral questions, so you need to be well prepared. I would also have your own questions prepared to ask at the end, they leave about 8-10 minutes for this. They also set you up with an informal coffee chat while you are at the WHQ with someone working the position of interest, which really helped me understand the day in day out responsibilities of the role and get candid feedback on the position. Overall amazing process and the recruiting team was so great to work with.

I applied online. I interviewed at General Mills in Jan 2021
Interview
I went through a multi-step interview process. After submitting my application online, I was contacted via email to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The next round consisted of 3 one-on-one via Microsoft Teams: 15 min with the Talent Acquisitions Manager, 30 min with the HR Manager for the division, and 30 min with a Senior Marketing Manager for the division. In all interviews, I was asked situation and behavior-based questions. They want you to answer using the STAR method.
Overall, it was a good experience. Everyone was really nice and happy to answer all my questions along the way.

Standard behavioral questions. First phone interview with hiring manager and then invited in for more interviews. Additionally, there is a reasoning test that was very hard, you only get 22 minutes to answer 20 questions.
