I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Mills
Interview
I attended a career fair at my university and was offered an informal interview after the recruiter looked over my resume. The interview was very laid-back. It was almost entirely behavioral questions following the STAR method. They just wanted to get a feel for how a candidate would react in different scenarios. The interview was just a pre-screening procedure as I was not applying for a job/internship at that time. They just wanted to get me into their system.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing very difficult. Just the standard "tell me about a time where you failed" kind of questions.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2025
Interview
- 2 on 1 for the first interview
1 of them was asking questions and 1 of them was taking notes. Felt pretty intense, they never got back to me and said I would hear back after a week. I then reached out and they responded immediately saying I did not get the job.
Applied online and then interviewed over a zoom call. Straightforward and easy. Two rounds. Some online personality questions as well. Overall a good experience. Different interview lets each round both current employees.
