      Applications Developer Interview

      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at General Mills in Oct 2015

      Interview

First met with General Mills at the career fair. Afterwards I was offered an interview that included behavioral and technical questions. A second interview followed with similar format to the first. People were very nice and understanding, can tell they truly represent the culture of 'Win as Team' . After about a week, they offered me the position in which I accepted.

      Interview

I met General Mills at the career fair and had my first round interview on campus. I was then asked to visit their campus for my final round interview. I have to mention that the HR was one of the kindest and most professional that I have worked with in a recruiting process. Decision on offers have not been made so I selecting "Yes, I have accepted an offer"as a default.

I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2017

      Interview

I first talked to General Mills at my school's career fair in early October. I had an interview the next day at my school. That interview was half behavioral and then half technical. About a week after that I was contacted about coming out to the headquarters in Minneapolis for onsite interview, which was scheduled for a week after that. They flew me out a day early and the evening before some developers took me out to dinner (though this isn't officially apart of the interview process it was helpful to get to meet more people from the company). The next day, we arrived and they gave us breakfast. Afterwards, I had 3 back to back interviews, each one lasting 45 minutes a piece. The first one was with a Senior Manager and was behavioral questions. The second interview was with a consultant and Senior Developer. This interview was technical. They asked me about OOP concepts, mostly pertaining to areas I was versed in (in this case, C++). They also asked me some situational questions about how I would trouble shoot or problem solve something. The last interview was another behavioral interview. After the interviews they gave us lunch then took us back to the airport. Overall, General Mills was very organized about the process, they took good care of the interviewees (in terms of transportation and lodging).

      Interview

I got an on person 2-1 interview. They were all behavioral but I tried to show my technical skills by showing the work I have previously done in my programming classes. Then I got a follow up interview in which I spoke to one of the workers in there. Overall it was a great process, they were very kind.
