The interview process was initial phone screen with recruiter, then another phone interview with team member, then a phone interview with manager and finally face-to-face interview with team. I interviewed with the recruiter then the team member. After that, the company's needs changed and the role is on hold.
Although I didn't get the job as there was some organizational changes (the role is still influx), I have to say that dealing with Tamara Lee (the recruiter) was quite a pleasant process. She was friendly, professional, punctual and very transparent. In my experience, recruiters tend to know little about the role and are guarded when it comes to salary information. Tamara was upfront about it. And because the organization's needs changed in the middle of the interview process, Tamara kept me up to date with what was going on.
Ultimately, I moved on. But if things change, Tamara will call me back to speak with the manager. Tamara and Patrick were great to deal with and were great representatives of Genesys' values. If the position opens up again, I will pursue it.
Also, Tamara encouraged me to check out other roles. Unfortunately, I didn't find something I liked but I will keep checking back as it seems that Genesys is a great company to work for based on employees' actions.
