The process was very chill overall. It was a panel interview with two managers from the teams they were hiring for. They gave one very easy coding problem, and the rest of the interview was behavioral.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Genesys (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2022
Interview
I applied at Genesys through a referral. I was set-up for an online interview about 2 weeks later. During the interview, I solved one programming question (array and hash map, language of choice, medium difficulty). I was also quizzed about the fundamentals of the top skills listed on my resume, and then we proceeded to discuss about my past work. Overall it was a great interview, the interviewers were friendly, chatty, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. A week and a half later, I had a call with the HR and received my offer letter.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Genesys in Dec 2024
Interview
After a quick 20 minute call with the recruiter, I had a 1-hour panel interview with the team that I would be working with. It mainly consisted of verbal technical questions as well as 2-3 quick coding questions. The team was very friendly, and they were helpful while working through coding questions. I only wish they had asked me more about myself and my goals/passions.
