I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Genezen
Interview
It felt more like I was being assessed for how well I’d fit into a social clique than for my qualifications. They kept emphasizing that they’re a “happy, all-friends” company and only hire people who match that vibe. At the same time, they were overly critical of everything I said. Even if the company is strong on paper, the way they presented themselves felt performative — more focused on personality than on the science. It didn’t seem like scientific rigor or curiosity were genuinely valued.
The process was lengthy, and kept people in the dark for a long time, while they were making their decision. The team was not very communicative and I don't think hiring was their priority, which is okay, but not okay when it leaves people hanging.
