HR reached out via LinkedIn expressing interest in my background. Did a phone interview with the HR rep to talk more about their current needs and my experience. Was asked to interview with the team as soon as possible and I obliged but I completely regret my decision for the following reasons: Onsite interview was extremely disorganized. Only met 1 of the 5 people given for my interview lineup and had no one to walk me through the day, felt very shuffled around. As for actual interview format, very general questions about work history. Never dug into my technical experience, and a lot of the same questions were asked by different interviewers. What was most offputting, after my onsite there was no follow-up. After a week passed, sent email directly to the HR person who I initially spoke with asking for an update. A few days later received a no reply canned response they decided not to move forward. This was incredibly discourteous, mainly because she had such an urgency to have me meet with the team. Hands down this the worst interview I've experienced. At least have the courtesy to respond to a candidate personally if you asked them to invest time coming onsite to meet with the team.
