The interview process started with a recruiter screening, followed by technical discussions and a take-home assignment. The issue was what happened after the interviews. I received and signed the offer, made major life arrangements based on the company’s commitment, and even received company equipment. As part of the planned relocation to Malta, I left my previous job and cancelled my apartment contract. After several months of preparation and ongoing administrative steps, the company cancelled the contract at the very end of the process. In my view, this was extremely unethical and unprofessional. The company allowed the process to continue until I had already made serious personal and professional commitments, then backed out at the last moment. Do not trust them if you need to relocate!

Easy and simple. HR person explained the steps, what I could expect, the company and the benefits. Also explained straight away if there would be a task or not, and how long the whole process would take. It was great that she gave me that overview of the company. It gives a real feel of what the company is like and if you want to work there or not.
