I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gigamon (Reading, England) in Feb 2017
Interview
I have received a message on Linkedin from the internal recruiter, we set up a call and then the interviewer called me, she explained the process was going to last 2 weeks.
I had a call with the US Director, the call went very well, he was happy because I had some skills that the team didn't have and so I could add a lot of value to the company, he was happy to go ahead.
I had a tech interview with a senior staff eng in UK, the call was great, I enjoyed to talk with him and he was very nice, the feedback was great again. I then went on site for what wwas supposed to be the final step, onsite face2face interview, I met the whole team and again they were very happy, I was told also that they were concerned as my skills were too much high and they were worried I was going to get bored, I told them not to worry as my interest was genuine.
From there I ahd lots of emails from the recruiter saying I had to talk with the VP then delayed, then delayed, again, no updates, no responses, lack of professional here and then eventually the recruiter told me they decided no tto go ahead cause I was not a "cultural fit" for the company!?!?!?? without explaining or elaborating anything and at the same time the feedback I was receiving was completely different everyone was happy about my tech skills and about myself.
This is the kind of company that you have to stay away from, they are double face and you can't trust them at all.
