I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ginkgo BioWorks (Boston, MA) in May 2022
Interview
you will meet with Hr first and then you will have 30 min talk with the hiring manager. After that, you will set up a 2-hour interview. During the interview, you will actually solve a case.
This was my worst interview ever. I passed the first two interviews and I schedule my final interview already. But their hiring manager was fired and the supervisor took over my case. He thought I'm not a good fit for this job so he directly canceled my final round interview. They even tried to convince me that they just froze the process before they get a new hiring manager but they had already given offers to two other people for this position. This company hiring process is a mess

Interview
15 minute Phone Screen followed by additional questions via email. A week later, interviewed with the supervisor for Automation. Then silence. This is similar to most experiences from people here. But their interview strategy is subpar to say the least.
