I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Girls Inc in Apr 2013
Interview
Initial information session with a group of applicants all there at the same time. We then broke out into groups. After the info session, I was then called in for a personal interview where I had to prepare a presentation. I was given limited information. After that interview, it was possible I was going to need to interview again, but then the hiring manager let me know it was down to me and one other person. In the end, the 3rd interview was not necessary and she offered me the position.
I interviewed with Girls Inc. of Tarrant County. The process was unnecessarily prolonged, lasting over a month. Communication was consistent at first, but then I became an afterthought. A timeline was given and not followed. Finally, after multiple interviews and a presentation, instead of receiving an email from the hiring manager, I received a generic automated rejection. It showed a lack of common decency and was unprofessional, supporting the validity of other negative reviews.

I applied online. I interviewed at Girls Inc in Nov 2024
Interview
Laid back Zoom interview. She clearly had a list of thought-out questions to get through. It seemed like she was focused on trying to write out my individual responses as she was interviewing me. Made it difficult to rephrase my answers repeatedly until there was a short answer response for her to fill in the blank. The interview was almost an hour long even though it was only scheduled to be 30 minutes and then I just never heard from them again.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Girls Inc (New York, NY) in Oct 2021
Interview
The interview consisted of one zoom interview with 3 interviewer and presentation to real students. It was a quick process, my first interview was on a Thursday and I was called back for a second interview the same day. My presentation was the following Monday and I was selected for the position the Next Morning. If you genuinely love and are interested in working with kids, let that shine and the interview should be a breeze.
