Global recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. Then referred me to Marketing recruiter for the role. They sent a link to schedule an interview. The interviewer didn’t seem ready. He asked some questions that showed he haven’t had a glance at my resume. The job description that they sent me was too broad. A very long list of all possible marketing, automation, digital analytics, data engineering and data science skills. And despite them reaching out to me, he wanted to know why I am interested in their company and why wanted to leave my current role. I explained that I am open to opportunities and described my ideal role but at this point he had a silly smile on his face, which I found offensive.
