It was an easy and pleasant experience that introduced me to the interesting work environment of the company and what I should expect to do at the job, I recall that the interviewer was very nice and was able to provide detailed expectations during the interview.

Sharing perspective as an editor who has done the hiring, expect to submit samples of past work, and definitely include a cover letter if you are applying for a writing job. There will be a pretty friendly and informal interview, reference checks and in some cases a writing or editing test.
