A gentleman called me to set up an in person interview. I came in and met with two senior trainers. They had informed me that they will call me the next week to let me know their decision if I would move forward in the hiring process. They didn't bother calling me, so I called twice and the second time was three weeks later and only because I called and asked for an update did they tell me I was no longer considered for the position. I think if you call someone to come in, there should be a courtesy to tell them thank you for your time, we won't be moving forward.
While the interview, the two senior trainers were taking notes, and writing in front of me and while I was talking one trainer started covering her paper, as to block me from reading what she was writing. Quite distracting and unprofessional. Either don't take notes or hide your note taking from the beginning.
