I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Global Relay (Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2019
Interview
1st - phone screen with an HR person
2nd - quick phone interview with basic C# questions
3rd - Home technical assignment: Create grocery cashier in 48 hours with no UI, only tests. It took me about 8 straight hours of work.
4th - In-person with 5 other employees:
- explain your design and algorithm decisions on the cashier system
- create a cache system with add, retrieval based on usage (less used are dumped from cache)
- whiteboard an air-traffic control system of an airport, like a queue of planes that are landing and taking off
It took almost a week to let me know that that didn't go with my application. Just discarded with a simple 'Thank You' e-mail.
About a month from start to end.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
