Had the worst experience of my life, where they treat candidates as mere backup until they find someone better.
Recruiter was very good and kept me in loop continuously. However,the hiring manager kept me hanging without a firm yes or no. Hiring manager was not sure from the very beginning coz she thought I am too senior , then I don't know why she wasted my time in further rounds of interviews. The company should at least compensate candidates who spent time and also waited untill they found someone better than me.
I did these rounds- Recruiter , HM, panel of two Cross team members, Another senior manager, culture fit. After a week, I was interviewed for another 30 minutes with HM which was more about knowing each other better instead of technical questions. She said I am one amongst the top 2. After 1 week, recruiter says HM still wants to interview few candidates and I will get a decision after week. Also asked if I am looking at other roles .The entire process took around 2 months. Wasted my 2 months energy preparing for every round.
This experience also made me imagine the way they treat their employees.
