      Marketing Assistant Interview

      21 Jan 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Birmingham, England
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Gold Vibes (Birmingham, England) in Jan 2019

      Interview

Interviewed in Birmingham. Wasn't even really an interview. The guy spoke in riddles, couldnt even get a straight answer about why a the Job actually is. Alarms bells started ringing when he said 'We have someone here who's 22 and earns £800,000'. I mean, firstly, what a load of rubbish, and also, why on earth do I need to know that? You shouldn't need to convince me I need this job! I was immediately invited back for a 'training day' from 11-8.30. After doing a lot of research I found out that it would actually just be knocking on doors trying to advertise and market products. The job was also advertised as salaried, which is a complete lie. All employees are completely self employed here. Dont give these people the time of day!
