It was a really positive experience overall—everyone I interacted with was respectful and professional. The process was well-structured, starting with a phone call, followed by an in-person interview, then a background check, and finally receiving the offer.
I applied online. I interviewed at GoodLife Fitness (Tecumseh, ON) in Mar 2026
Interview
Felt like a waste of time. I had a 20 minute phone interview where the interviewer asked about my ability to commute. I clearly explained my situation and how I planned to manage the commute. Despite this, I was still invited to attend an in-person interview.
I spent additional time preparing presentations and commuting to the location, only to be rejected afterward. If commuting was a concern, it would have been more respectful of my time to make that decision during the initial phone interview rather than asking me to come in person.
They first did a phone call asking general questions, followed by an in-person interview, but before that, you need to complete some homework and bring the answers to the interview.
