A recruiter reached out to me about the position so I applied and submitted my resume and cover letter.
A few weeks later, a different recruiter reaches out to schedule a video interview. She emailed me at 1 pm, asking to do the interview the next day at 11 am. That time did not work with my availability so we scheduled a new time for the following week. I joined the video interview and the recruiter was nowhere to be found. After waiting 15 minutes for the video call to begin, I finally emailed her and she said she was having "computer issues" and could we reschedule for the next day. I had already moved things around my schedule to make things work for our designated time so it seemed very unprofessional of her to not have reached out in advance, or to change it to a regular phone interview if her camera was not working.
Very bad first impression when the recruiters are scheduling and changing things last minute. It shows lack of professionalism and consideration of applicants.
I had to politely withdraw my application since this brief interaction already showed me it was not a great place to work.
