I read through every single post in glassdoor so I am writing a review here. The process took 3 months. The interview itself is pleasant, they are respectful, authentic and sincere, just the response time is long.
I submitted resume in May 16, reached out by HR in May 19 to do a coding test. It is on hackerrank. Finished the coding test in June 8, HR sent an email to schedule a screening call in June 9. Set the call to be June 13. HR looked stressed initially and explained is due to recent business trip, then turns out to be a very nice and authentic buddy. passed immediately after, asked to schedule live coding interview and role-specific interview. HR confirmed the schedule in June 19. Interview happened on June 26. Live coding round interviewer is very nice and chill, keep giving encouraging words, keep giving advice and tips on things to look out for. Role-specific interviewer is a bit shy but knows subject matter really well, obviously codes a lot, seems quite new to interview people. HR got back in July 2 saying role might be unfit, needs a few days to decide. Sent invite for behaviour interview and hiring manager interview in July 9. Confirmed the schedule in July 11. Behaviour interview happened in July 14. Interviewer is very well spoken and encouraging, seems genuinely interested and impressed despite being asked many unexpected follow-ups and my response were choppy and unprepared. very good interaction throughout, says will get back to me **very soon**. Hiring manager is in July 18, very friendly, and I must admit is a smart, astute, sharp person. Seems he can grasp information important for him from my response. And at the mean time I could not detect his preferred answer and therefore i could not shape my response accordingly. I can only tell where his question came from when I reflect about it after the interview. Also he seems really new to being interviewer as well, same as the previous round. the questions asked seems jumpy and out of context. Therefore I received a huge bunch of mixed signals from his reaction, half very good, half very bad. He says we will talk to you very soon. HR get back to me in Aug 6, says there were a lot of internal discussion and some summer holidays, saying will recommend hire, but need some time to submit to committee. In Aug 12 HR says there were some internal delays, but will submit very soon. In Aug 15 HR emailed saying will extend offer, and did an offer call. Sent out offer email in Aug 18.
