Information session followed by HR. They review the perks and benefits of the job. Sounds almost too good to be true. They promise clients all the time which in insurance seems difficult to achieve.

Gotham Enterprises is a recruitment agency for therapists. I applied for a position through their job portal for a therapy company I had not heard of, but it advertised a great salary and benefits package. I attended a group information session where the CEO told us not to ask any questions, as they would have us interview individually for the position if we wanted to move forward. The next day, I showed up on time for my scheduled Zoom interview, and the interviewers did not show up for 23 minutes. When they arrived, they told me they were "backed up with meetings" and "might have to reschedule". At that point, I already suspected things were fishy, because during the information session, the CEO told us that the salary was lower than the range that was advertised and didn't mention the generous benefits package advertised in the job posting. So I asked the interviewers what company I was interviewing to work for, and they told me that they were recruiting for BetterHelp. I showed them that I had applied to a job in their portal for another company, and they just repeated that they were interviewing for jobs at BetterHelp. My later research revealed that the company I thought I applied for does not exist. They are making fake job postings for fake companies and posting them all over LinkedIn and other job sites. I believe other posts from former recruiters at Gotham have noted that they only recruit for BetterHelp. I ended the interview when I found out they had done a bait-and-switch, and communicated that that (and the fact that they showed up late for the interview) was extremely disrespectful.
