I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Great Clips (Wilmington, NC) in Dec 2012
Interview
The interview process was very thorough. The general manager asked me open ended questions to learn more about me and for me to learn more about the company. She inquired about my level of experience and my knowledge of the industry. After the initial one-on-one interview, I was scheduled a "technical interview" when I was to come in and demonstrate two haircuts. One haircut had to be some sort of a clipper haircut (fade) and the other had to be some kind of a layered haircut. After I was finished cutting, the manager cross checked the cut and examined it to make sure it was even, well blended and that the person was satisfied.
Thank you for your honest feedback. We appreciate everything you do in the salon each day!

I interviewed at Great Clips (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
It was super relaxed for the most part. They mostly asked questions about my background and previous customer experience jobs. How I handled certain situations, why or why not I'd be a good fit. Standard interview stuff,

We appreciate you sharing the interview process! Thank you for the feedback.
They did an in person interview and a technical interview, it wasn't too hard of an interview process. The technical is intimidating at first but its not too bad and the manager was friendly.

I applied online. I interviewed at Great Clips (Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
I got an immediate call after applying online. A recruiter took me out for coffee and a quick chat. They offer a lot training so they focus more on advertising what your job could be like if you accept the job offer.
