I initially applied online years ago, and repeatedly did so until this past winter a Great Hearts recruiter reached out to me via email. I was asked to select a time slot for the phone interview, where I was asked several questions on teaching and the role of a school. Afterwards, the recruiter told me that principals would soon reach out to me. Multiple principals did reach out to me, usually performing a phone screening before inviting me on campus for an interview and teaching demo. I did do a demo, and was offered a position shortly after, which I declined.
