In our case, the first and foremost thing we noticed was that GreyB focuses large on your logical skills. The first part of the assessment was an online MCQ round having 40 questions of 30 mins. I could do 32 only. The distribution was something like 75% on aptitude( quant, logical, analytical and not much on verbal) and 25% on technical knowledge. Some 8% of the total students appearing was shortlisted for the interview.
Assignment Round: The interview process kicked off with an assignment round where I was given a practical task related to the SDET role. This task provided me with the opportunity to demonstrate my understanding of software testing principles and my ability to apply them in a real-world scenario.
Technical Interview (CV Review): In the subsequent round, the interviewer delved into my resume/CV, asking questions to gauge my foundational knowledge in software development and testing concepts. As a fresher, this round focused on assessing my understanding of fundamental concepts rather than extensive professional experience.
Technical Interview (Coding and Puzzles): The coding and puzzles round was both challenging and insightful. While I lacked professional experience, I had the chance to showcase my problem-solving skills and coding proficiency. The interviewers provided support and guidance throughout, creating a conducive environment for learning and growth.
Technical Interview (Coding and Tech Skills): This round delved deeper into technical skills relevant to the SDET role. While I was a fresher, the interviewers evaluated my understanding of testing frameworks, automation tools, and software development practices. It was an opportunity for me to demonstrate my passion for learning and my eagerness to contribute to the team.
HR Round: The final round involved discussions with HR personnel, focusing on cultural fit, personality, and career aspirations. As a fresher, I emphasized my enthusiasm for joining GreyB, my willingness to learn, and my commitment to personal and professional development.
