Question 1
What are 3 most important qualities that you would have and rank them.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Guardant Health (Redwood City, CA) in Aug 2024
Interview
Interviews were fine and well-organized, still largely online via Zoom Calls. I spoke with four people: two potential coworkers, one manager, and the HR contact. They asked many questions that can be found on Glassdoor, so preparing well is a good idea. My problem was with HR being quite unresponsive. I would be left without a response to a follow-up question regarding the interview process (logic testing) for days on end. The logic test they use is also quite ridiculous.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Guardant Health in Jul 2024
Interview
Pretty standard process. Two rounds. The first round was a 15-30 minute HR phone call screening followed by two assessments that were used to test basic skills, such as data entry. The second round was a panel interview, in my case with two people: the person who would be my hiring manager and department manager.
The reason why I had a negative experience was because I felt like they had cut off all contact with me for more than a month. I called the person in HR who did my first phone call screening interview several times and left 2 follow-up emails. For the record, after I told them I finished my second round interview, they told me they would let me know about the status of my interview personally. When I did receive news that the position had been filled, it was via an automated message.
