      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Guardant Health (Redwood City, CA) in Aug 2024

      Interview

Interviews were fine and well-organized, still largely online via Zoom Calls. I spoke with four people: two potential coworkers, one manager, and the HR contact. They asked many questions that can be found on Glassdoor, so preparing well is a good idea. My problem was with HR being quite unresponsive. I would be left without a response to a follow-up question regarding the interview process (logic testing) for days on end. The logic test they use is also quite ridiculous.

      28 Aug 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Guardant Health in Jul 2024

      Interview

Pretty standard process. Two rounds. The first round was a 15-30 minute HR phone call screening followed by two assessments that were used to test basic skills, such as data entry. The second round was a panel interview, in my case with two people: the person who would be my hiring manager and department manager. The reason why I had a negative experience was because I felt like they had cut off all contact with me for more than a month. I called the person in HR who did my first phone call screening interview several times and left 2 follow-up emails. For the record, after I told them I finished my second round interview, they told me they would let me know about the status of my interview personally. When I did receive news that the position had been filled, it was via an automated message.
