I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Guidehouse (London, England) in Feb 2024
Interview
Stage one was a chat with a HR representative, who was generally pretty rude.
This was followed up by an interview with two senior consultants. Interview questions were reasonable, good efforts were made by those consultants to create an environment where the candidate could showcase themselves.
Following this, I was asked to complete a take home assignment containing two parts:
1. Write a LinkedIn post about a topic in financial crime
2. Prepare a 10 minute presentation on regarding frameworks, with notes
Feedback was received with 48 hours and came in the form of an email with appalling grammar and spelling (including my name being misspelled and not capitalised). The partner had apparently noted that my slides were not, "visually engaging enough" and would not be interested in continuing the process.
Overall glad I didn't take a role with a company who won't even hear out a candidates presentation after asking them to spend a significant period of time preparing for no compensation.

Question 1
Describe the process for establishing a financial crime framework
They were very professional and prompt, easy to coordinate and clear questions. The process made sense and I got plenty of time to ask questions of my own. I interviewed with two different people.
3 rounds, took a long time for turnaround, felt like a good use of time in each round. Content is practice specific, except for maybe first round which was more behavioral.
