I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Guitar Center (Towson, MD)
Interview
Super laid-back. Was ask if you questions and if you didn’t know the answer was encouraged to say you don’t know it and seek the knowledge. I dropped off my résumé a couple days prior called back the next day and got the interview. It was done by the store manager and the sales manager.
Well thought out interview pretty easy, I thought it went well but didn't get offered a position. I still feel like they are a good company although I heard they changed there commission structure in the past few years.
Simple and to the point. They want to know if you fit into the company culture. They also want to know what your skill set is as far as musical ability. It is very easygoing and relaxed
I interviewed at Guitar Center (North Olmsted, OH)
Interview
Felt like I was being interrogated or discriminated against, as if this were an important career. Dude, you hire high school students. Give me a break. Avoid applying to guitar center.
