I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Guittard (Burlingame, CA) in Nov 2025
Interview
I was contacted by an internal recruiter. Had a phone screen with recruiter. Requested a job description. Did not supply one. Called me back and talked with Dir. of Production on the phone for 45 minutes. Again, requested a job description, none supplied. The next week was asked to come to the plant. Met with Dir of HR and Dir of Production for 2 hours. Again asked for job description, none supplied. They made it clear they were not in a hurry. Two days after I receicpved a rejection form letter, they place a job posting on LinkedIn based on my interview, including the salary range. Underhanded and dishonest the whole time. Who interviews without a job description ?
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Guittard (Fairfield, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
To be honest is was horrible. I think they're looking to hire a slave to work 80 hours a week (Monday-Saturday) and be grateful for having a job at their company. If HR has an attitude like this, imagine management? Ong

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Guittard in Mar 2025
Interview
Quick response from talent acquisition after applying, only had a phone screening call. Was normal basic questions, until asked about overtime. I tried getting further explanation as to how much overtime would be expected, and she gave me some attitude about how "it was clear in the job posting". The job posting only said to "be flexible with hours". Which is fine, but working overtime almost every day and on days off consistently is beyond just being flexible. It suggests to me they're understaffed or have employees that regularly call off.
