I received an email inviting me to an on-site interview at their downtown office. During the visit, I had the opportunity to meet two people in HR: the Manager of People & Culture and the Head of Talent Acquisition. The interview was a positive experience, feeling more like a friendly conversation. They asked about my work experience and presented some scenario questions. Following this, the TA team quickly scheduled a virtual interview with the VP of People & Culture for the next week, due to her availability. During this interview, she inquired about my current HR experience, asked some basic interview questions, and tried to get a sense of my personality. She also mentioned that they are very picky when hiring people. I noticed that the position had been open since November 2023. After a week without feedback, I followed up. They asked me to wait another week as they were still in the hiring process, but ultimately, they decided to reject my application. The whole process took almost a month.
