I'll start with the pros: the process moved quickly and people seemed friendly.
However, I didn't enjoy my interview experience. The "first round" was a gauntlet of three different interviews that essentially ate up an entire day. I was asked a lot of questions about AI. Not "how do you use AI for X or Y" but about proficiency with certain tools ("Have you used Tool A? What about Tool B?") None of these specific tools were mentioned in the job description. I think it would at least be fair to say which tools they were looking for proficiency with so I could try and familiarize myself with them.
The most off-putting part, however, was they kept mentioning how much they loved the last guy in the position. Multiple people did this. Kind of felt like going out on a date with someone who isn't over their ex.
It seems like they were looking for a unicorn, which is fine if you're a five star company, but with a 3.1 and dropping score on Glassdoor, expectations need to be brought back down to Earth.
