I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
I had a phone screener with the hiring lead. Then they had me came on-site for a full round of interviews. I met with three teammates and had one watermelon/culture interview. The process was longer than I had anticipated, even after the interview it took two weeks to hear back because of a last step of every hire going in front of their hiring committee to make sure that they only hired qualified individuals who aligned with the company principles.

Received an OA, and a call behavioral call with a recruiter. Worked through a realistic 1 hour technical interview which is the last step before the onsite. I received a rejection email shortly after.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto in Dec 2023
Interview
Met with 4 different people in the department, was emailed the general theme of each interview ahead of time. People were very friendly and the interview felt fairly conversational and straightforward
It was a pretty long series of interviews with stakeholders from multiple departments and different levels. There was a single point of contact for coordinating interview details and arranging meetings which was nice.
