I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at H E B in Feb 2023
Interview
Horrible interview and recruitment experience. Recruiters seemed stressed and overworked and even mentioned so in the emails. Recruiter at all stages of the interview told me to prepare for one thing and on the day of, the interviews were completely different and I was taken by surprise which impacted performance. They're screening way too many candidates and the process is very slow. Lots of ghosting and long responses. All the interviewers seemed disengaged and company as a whole feels very slow and corporate despite trying to promote a cool tech culture
Hiring Manager Directly, have a connection and I was a referral. We have a polite conversation. The hiring manager was the Director of Innovation and Director of Data Science. We have a conversation for around two hours about my experience and a feedback session
