I applied online. The process took a year or more. I interviewed at H E B (Houston, TX) in May 2012
Interview
First I received a phone call notifying me of an interview. I arrived to a group interview where they have activities to train your ability to think on your feet. I thought the group activity was a great way to test people because the H E B I worked at functioned like a team. Everyone works together, shares stories, is friendly; it's a nice place to work.
The interview process is unique and done in a few parts. There is a group interview where you interact with other applicants. They also ask you one on one questions in a more traditional interview setting.
