I applied online. I interviewed at H&R Block in Dec 2016
Interview
It was usual personality interview. Asked questions about how you deal yourself in different work situations. Mostly behavioral questions. Technical questions were not asked in the interview as I had to take an exam earlier, one needs to pass that exam with at least 70%.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at H&R Block (Woodland, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Passed the mandatory classes and was hired Had to take the mandated classes that are required from the IRS and CA Franchise Tax Board a total of at least 62 hours plus 15+ hours yearly as a refresher and tax updates in order to be able to be hired on a seasonal basis including obtaining the CTEC and PTIN renewal fees. Overall okay
I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at H&R Block (Valdosta, GA) in Dec 2014
Interview
After taking and passing the tax class, it was more of a sit down because I had already met and interacted with the owner. We talked about the job and what hours I wanted to work and which location. She told me the hourly rate for first years.
