I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HCLTech (Bengaluru) in Jul 2014
Interview
Moderately difficult, the primary areas of concentration are the learn-ability and data analysis. Previous experience also added an advantage. So the interview process is not so defined. It depends on the role you are being hired for. If it is technical and defined role then the interview is specific and to the point else it is more concentrated on learn-ability and previous experience and fit to the role.

Technical related to the role, HR and other questions related to processes and academics
I applied in-person. I interviewed at HCLTech (Colombo, Western) in Mar 2026
Interview
They had three rounds, one of which was an online technical interview; it went really well. The other was with an HR, which was more casual than formal, and then was a test that was conducted online. But the only disappointment was that they made me do the test, and then told me i was not selected through the HR round
Got into the next round and the recruiting team reached out to schedule interviews and after providing the dates they have never reached out again. Not a good experience at all.
I applied through university. I interviewed at HCLTech (Bangalore Rural) in Dec 2024
Interview
The Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) process was a smooth and enriching experience. It provided an excellent platform to showcase my skills, express ideas, and interact meaningfully with evaluators and peers.
