I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at HMH Education (Montreal, QC) in Jul 2019
Interview
The process was well structured. Phone screen, then video interview with prospective team mates and supervisor, then on-site interview consisting of 30 mins with 3 people, one after another. I was contacted by several different people in HR during the hiring process, but then, it's a big company.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at HMH Education (New York, NY) in Jan 2018
Interview
I had a 20 minute phone interview which went fairly well. Standard UX questions but more of a phone screen nothing too difficult. They informed me they would be in touch in a week for a followup interview.. I did not hear back until 5 weeks later when I received an email from a different individual who had asked if I was still interested or not. I told them I was and they said they would get back to me. Two more weeks passed and received another email from even a different individual asking if I was still interested or not and had to do a video recording of my self. They sent a link where the screen records you and you talk about yourself and answer questions. Probably the most absurd thing I have ever experienced for a senior level position and the questions were not even relevant to the job. Really poor interview process, arrogant emails continually asking if "I want the job or not". Stay away from these people they are living in the 80s.
