It goes through several stages local and regional level, questions are technical and professional in all stages. Some had more than one individual whilst others had just one individual interviewing you.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC (Paris) in May 2020
Interview
1 Interview with HR to see if I was available for an interview with the Sanctions Department from London.
I ask for a JOB DESCRIPTION, they never provided one. They told me that it was still being "prepared", so I used the job description from my original HSBC application.
I received an E-Mail for a second interview, I sent back my update CV for the interview.
2nd Interview: I NEVER received the JOB DESCRIPTION, the Head of Sanctions told a job that was completely different from the one which I applied. Therefore, I had NO time to prepare for the interview. The interviewer after only 15 minutes of the interview was really rude and just told me "this is not going to work", you do not have the profile of the JOB DESCRIPTION (that they never set me!!)
