I applied in-person. I interviewed at Hallmark in Sept 2012
Interview
I was walking by the Hallmark store in the mall and saw a "career opportunities" sign. I filled out an application and the store manager wanted to interview me right away. I answered her questions about my previous job duties and experiences.
Then I had to take a personality test (on paper, with a sheet for marking answer choices) that was almost two hundred questions long. This test had the usual attitude/personality/hypothetical situation questions, with True/Yes and False/No choices for answers.
There are some very obvious or silly questions mixed in, such as "I feel that this test is a waste of my time" and "I can hit my co-worker if they hit me first" and "I am honestly reading these questions carefully". Be sure to carefully mark your correct chosen response for each one. After doing sixty or seventy of these, your eyes will get tired, and it's not hard to accidently mark the wrong answer space for a certain question.

Question 1
I don't remember the exact wording, but I was basically asked if it's difficult for me to *not* push my personal home decor or design choices on others when having to make recommendations for them.
