I applied online. I interviewed at Hanesbrands (Melbourne) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was a pretty straight forward application and interview process. Three interviews, first HR Screening then two in person interviews, then reference check and then offer. Moved very quickly and lots of communication from the HR department
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Hanesbrands (Greensboro, NC) in Apr 2017
Interview
Company contacted me. Scheduled a phone interview/screen with HR person. She was knowledgeable and thorough in her interview, nice person. Call went well, so had an in-person interview with the hiring manager.
Second interview was a good conversation, but it did not progress further than the one in-person interview. Hiring manager was a nice person to talk to, but pretty impressed with him/herself. I was not eager to pursue after the conversation. It was a fairly low-key interview, conversational. Seems like a decent place to work.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard stuff; wanted to know what I knew about the company, the industry space, and we talked a lot about my background and work experience/achievements.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hanesbrands in May 2010
Interview
The HR woman called me and asked if I would be available for an interview the following week. I agreed and had an interview with the Marketing Manager I would be working under directly if I was hired. The interview went great and we discussed my qualifications and what I like about Hanes. Afterwards, he said he was going on vacation but someone would be in touch with me regarding my status. The next week, the HR woman called me for another interview and I set up time with one of the Marketing associates. I had a 45 minute interview with her and then was told I would be contacted again. Sadly, I didn't get the position.
