After waiting 20 mins past my phone interview time, the receptionist emailed me apologizing and explained that the recruiter had to run to an emergency meeting. Completely understandable. They rescheduled for the next day. The phone interview led to an in-person interview invite which he indicated would be some time the following week. I was of course excited and sent my thank you email and waited for a response. My interview was on a Thursday and I waited until Monday but didn't hear back. Wanting to be proactive, I followed up and still 3 months later and counting, did not hear back. If they longer wanted to move forward with an in-person interview, the right thing to do would be to communicate that. The lack of communication and poor handling of the recruiting process was very disappointing. It wouldn't be fair to say that it is a reflection of the Company but I certainly would not want to be a part of a team that operates in that manner.
