There were several rounds meeting with various people. Seemed disorganized and everyone had a different understanding of the role. Did not seem like they knew what they wanted from this position.
I was interviewed by the grade level team and the assistant principal. There interview lasted about 20-30 minutes. They asked about 7-10 questions. It was not rapid fire questioning. They all engaged in conversation as I was answering. It was similar to being a member of the grade level team.

Question 1
Describe your best teaching moment and your worst teaching moment.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Haverhill Public Schools (Haverhill, MA) in Sept 2015
Interview
Very brief interview. Committee was running behind and I felt rushed. Director asked about my previous experience and then interrupted me " in the interest of time". I had brought samples of my work and gave them to the Director whom did not even glance at them and made some remark about not understanding them and handed them to the school psychologist at the table. The interview was comprised of the Director, a school Principal and a school psychologist. I was asked at the end if I had any questions and when I began, they responded very quickly. I spoke to a colleague of mine following the interview who had also interviewed on the same day and this person indicated her experience was very similar to mine.

Question 1
I was only asked a question by a school psychologist in the interview. I was asked if I could manage working in multiple buildings as this assignment was in three buildings. Had she listened to me discuss my experience, I had been successfully working in multiple buildings for 20 years. The interview lasted approximately 15-20 minutes. I never received any contact from the organization after the interview and believed the process to be somewhat disorganized and unprofessional.
